Alright so I know stupid but, I crossed the terminals on my battery that I just got....None of my lights we're working but when I started the car, the hazards that I had pushed, and my headlights popped up. The backlight for the clock turned on, but no time actually showed.

Today only my headlights turn on but aren't retractable, tail lights, hazards, turn signals, horn, digital clock don't work now, not even a backlight. I looked at my fuses and they look alright, so I'm not sure exactly where to start to fix this. Also the car takes a bit longer to start up now then when I had my old dying battery.

Cliff Notes:*Crossed terminals*No lights worked unless car was on, minus headlights*Today no lights work, even with car running, except headlights.*Door Chime and horn also don't work

*update* OK, so I decided to start to car, just for a peace of mind that it would still start, the gauges weren't working, so i decided to give it lil bit of gas, and everything was working again, EVERYTHING.

However with the car off, nothing works, lights/time display/horn etc.

Now that the problems more specific, anybody have any insight on this?

Check all your fuses, there are probably a few blown. You may have cooked a few of the modules by hooking up the battery wrong, but you won't know until you check everything else first.

Is there any way to tell visually if the fuse is blown, none of them look burnt or melted, and the little metal lines in the center are still connected.

About all I can think of is some relays might not be working properly. It sucks, but I think your going to just have to start tracing wires to see where the power stops flowing.
