Have a couple different posts about my son's '96 na slickroof running issues. I think I have a battery drain issue too. New, 2-3 week old, gel cel battery. Car sat 1.5 weeks while dealing with hurricane Ida. Tried to start car 2 days ago and battery was very week. Asked son about it and he did say that if cars sits a week without being run the car is slower to start than normal. SO, are there any "normal" issues that cause battery drain? Car only has 80,000 miles.
This car does have an alarm, not sure if it is factory or not.

There could certainly be a small draw somewhere but in my experience the AGM batteries have a much shorter shelf life than lead acid.

The 1st 1 I put in the car was in Jan 2018 when we bought the car. My son had to replace it at school in 2020 and now this one. Granted the car has sat most of the summer while we fought with it. This new one though only sat maybe 1.5 weeks without being started.

Are there are "normal" things that cause issues with these car
