i bought some of those washer lights that mount on the hood..... the direction says to hook them to the light switch but how in the hell do i find the wires to run them, would it be easier to hook them to a toggle? and also how do i get through the fire wall easily? its a 95 240sx SE, i think these would look nice to go with the ground lights........ just a pain to wire them.

hook them up to the marker lights up front so when you turn your park lights on they come on

yeah, it would probably be easier to run them to a toggle switch mounted somewhere.

as for getting the wires through the firewall, look for places where other wires go through and stick 'em through there.

if you got a test light just pull one out and probe the socket.

all 4 wheels or just one axle was done. maybe the noise is from the other end. if not I would make sure all the harware is secure and not sliding around especially the clip on gliders the pads slide in.

the wiring aint that bad. your using the test light to determine which wire is the hot wire . there is only 2 to the marker light one is power one is ground. test light will run you 2 or 3 bucks at the store. having a tech do it will run you an hour minimum of shop labor at my shop that is to the tune of 95 bucks.

all four rotors where shaved.... also it makes this horrible ergh noise when stoping at an down angle. sometime accompianied by that high pitched squeal.... maybe brake dust? my rims do get dirty quickly

check the hardware i mentioned most likely the retainer tab on one of the glides has broken of and its rubbing the rotor. also a frequent occurance after a brake job is one of the backing plates gets slightly bent during the job and it rubs the rotor. but that is usually heard imediatly following the job. its just a matter of bending it back away from the rotor so it isnt hitting.

like i said electrical is not my strong point.... now this may make me out to sound like a tard, but do i need to put in inline fuses, to keep from blowing the fuse for my side lights?

no your side lights are fused and those lights you want to install shouldnt hardly pull any amps so the tail fuse(fuse for your parking light circuit) should be enough to protect the circuit.

I have a set and hooked them up the same way NISTECH sugested and i have never blown a fuse. My car is a 90 and I think the two wires are red and green and if I remeber right the red is hot. Don't hold me to the colors, I put them on almost two years ago.

eh i hooked it up to a togel... couldnt find a way through the fire panel... where all the wires went in was a rubber seal... so for the mean time i just ran them under the hood, down the passenger side, under the glove box, and vola right to the toggle, looks clean considering i taped that red wire, and shoved them into the weather stripping, i figured it wouldnt hurt considering the wire is probably 20 gauge or more..... ran them direct to battery, inserted inline to be safe.
