when trying to roll up the drivers side window on my '95 240sx all there is, is a clicking noise. Just started doing this. Took the panel off but have no idea where to look for the problem. Sure could use someones help.

There's a motor wire a worm gear on it that turns the other gear that's attached to the spool of cable. That could be the clicking, be careful not to strain it or you'll break the cable. It happened in my s13 and I replaced the cable with a high strand bicycle brake line and used two of these. That works for about a year and a half to two years then broke again.When it first happened I couldn't afford a new regulator ($217 from http://www.nissanparts.org/oem_parts.html) the second time it broke I had extra cash and bout a new regulator.

Correction yours is completely different setup. could still be those gears though.#4 VVV
