Electric Turbo?

does anyone have information on these electric turbo/superchargers?

i personally think its b.s, but i could be wrong

does anyone have one? or have any experience with them? claims to give 10-20 HP, approximately a 2psi boost. just like everything else, its on ebay

i tried searching, but i didnt find much on electric turbos, only real turbos :).... well thanks for the info. im still new to the whole car business (im only 17), just trying to find the best bang for buck when it comes to performance mods.

Well, if you look at the thing, there apears to be three starter motors turning the compressor. I don't think your electrical system will be happy about trying to spin those things for very long.

An inverter merely sacrifices the amps to make more volts. You actually will waste some power in wire resistance in the inverter. That "supercharger" is just a high cfm attic blower (hence the 110) with a cone filter stuck on it. Try Grainger or McMasterCarr (.com), I'm sure youll find the same thing much cheaper.

Thats pretty effing funny. Seriously, it gets funnier every time someone puts one of those for sale. Then I think about the idiot that buys it and I laugh even more.

what are you guys talking about? i put one on my car and my 0-60 time went down by 3 seconds. haha just kidding. yeah, theyre a load of crap. dot waste your money/time

lol... thanks for the info. i guess buying one is completely out of the question now. i wasnt really thinkin of buying one, but i was curious about if they actually work.
