I have noticed that the steering in these cars are nice and firm and little harder to turn then regular power steering,Will the steering get easier after many more miles,Or do they stay the same.if any one can let me know what their experience is with their car after break in that would be nice.

That's strange...I've always thought that the steering in the Versa was lighter than any other car. Ours seems VERY easy to turn. I really notice the difference when the car is barely moving (like when parking). Maybe it's adjusted a little differently from one car to another. Try test driving another Versa and see if it feels the same as yours. *almost forgot...I've noticed this on our car since the first day. We now have about 1,200 miles and it's the same.

Thinking the Versa has heavy steering must mean you are use to trucks or something where the wheel has no feedback. The Versa has a little lighter steering than a lot of other FWD cars.

I am going to get it checked out at the dealer,I will also try a few other cars,i know that the air in the tires can make a change running a bit harder as well,The tires are at 32 psi.

Only cars I've ever driven that had that light of a steering wheel were trucks (mostly F150s). All nissans I've ever driven basically have the same steering wheel feel.

American cars generally have "loose" and very light steering.

The V seems comparable to most japanese cars, and I love it like that.
