Electric seat not working

Took the Wife's Path to Nissan, can't replace the horizontal seat motor have to replace the entire seat base, $1,000 just for the part. Any cost savings help or suggestions?

search around the site a bit you will find lots of different things to try. Mine stopped working one day. The first thing I did was push the control button to move the seat forward while pulling it manually forward... and it just started working again and has been for months. Good luck.
