I also had the problem of the seat not going forward and back in my G-35X. The left side tried to move but the right side was stuck. I ended up taking it to the dealer and they said they would take it apart and replace any defective parts. $1,127 dollars later I have a new seat track assembly. I requested the old parts and last night I spent 3 minutes taking the drive motor off (three screws) and found that the nylon drive gear on the right front side of the seat had a broken tooth. 2 minutes later (including time to get my wrench in the garage) I removed the nut holding the gear on the worm shaft.
Infinity does NOT make any replacement parts available, even parts designed to wear and break like nylon gears, and the consumer is forced to spend a fortune when a $.50 part and 15 minutes time would have solved the problem.
Let the buyer beware!
