Electric Power Steering delete?

Soooo after a few weeks in my Miata the power steering in the Versa is really bugging me. Very floaty and non-precise.

In any case, I know there is an EPS breaker under the hood that I believe is a shared breaker with ABS (although my car doesn't have ABS.) I am wondering if anyone has ever tried pulling this breaker? Did it disable the power steering? Does anyone think having the power steering disabled will cause any long term problems or damage to the power steering system, motor, etc?

I am considering trying it out and if I like it wiring a switch into that circuit so I can enable the steering for parking, etc, and disable it while driving at speed.

Will a FWD CVT car be too difficult to steer without power steering? At speed I kind of doubt it.
