Electric fans + s**t ton of wires.

ok so me and my buddy just got back from Tallahassee, Fl to get a 92 DOHC 240 se. the guy who had it before us installed electric fans and some other bulls**t. dont get me wrong its an excellent car. we havent found anything MAJORLY wrong with it. only thing that really bugs us is that the electrics fans are hooked to a manual switch. he put a F&F switch panel in the car to turn on the electric fans. i just need to simplify it since there are about 20 or so wires just for the electric fans... . i just want to wire them up so they can be automatic if that is possible. ill post pics of it tomorrow since its dark as hell outside. were most likely goona re-install the original fan since he gave it to us god i hate finishing other peoples projects......

the first thing that you need to do it take out all the wiring associated with the fan. remove it completly, dont try and work with it. you will end up with more nightmares...

then get urself fan controller. DIF, makes a nice one, or get a Greddy MSS, (i have that and LOVE it).

another thing u can do it get a water temp sensor from a SOHC car, (its in the lower rad hose, used for AUX A/C fan), a blue nissan relay, fuse, and fuse holder, u can use that to also trigger ur fan, i dont recall what temp that sensor operates at, though its in the SOHC FSM.
