I would highly suggest dropping the fan first.

Fan is attached with 4 10mm nuts and will drop right off when they are taken off.

If you can't get to the bottom nut, undo all the other ones than bump your starter. That should put the bottom one up top for removal.

Replace them without the fan, no washers nec. Be careful with the angle of this pully when undone, it is under load with the belts and can slip off the front if bumped the wrong way.

When pulling the radiator hose to get the fan shroud out, pin the hose back witha pair of vise grips and use a towel stuffed into the radiator to reduce the amount of spilled coolant.

The shroud and the electric fan must come out together and then be separated. There is a grey molex plug to the left of the fan shroud to unhook the electric fan.

When remounting the electric fan, put a large rubber sink washer on each peg at the bottom. when you get it mounted, push down on the washers. this should take care of all play/vibration in the factory mount.

When bolting the top brackets of the electric fan back up, put two small rubber sink washers on the screws before putting them in. This should complete the vibration damping mount.

Put some electrical tape on the left over connector, it's just good to tape loose wires.

My voltage came up at 13.60vdc at idle with ac blowing full, big stereo cranked, high beams on, etc. I did not adjust my voltage because at idle, without all of this stuff, the voltage is in the low 14's.

That's it. I hope it helps you complete your modifications. I did mine, but i have no idea how it will react to the Georgia heat this summer. I may need to buy another electric fan to add in.
