Hey everyone, just a quick question.

I bought a fan controller for my taurus electric fan, I have it all wired up except for a yellow wire that is supposed to connect to a 12V constant powered wire turned on by the ignition being on. Now I know that I could hook it up to the radio power wire or the cigarette lighter or even the ignition itself, but i'm hoping someone knows of a wire to splice it into within the engine bay preferrably by the fuse box or main wire coil.

Thanks!

Which fan controller did you get?

Are you sure its supposed to be on a switched power supply?

The DIF fan controller is supposed to connect to an unswitched power supply, because it will run the fan for a couple minutes after you turn the key off.

i believe its switched, i bought the one from this install, its from advance auto parts, but seems pretty sturdy...

I have all the other wires hooked up correctly i think... just not sure where to hook this yellow one up to, all it says on the instructions is to a 12v ignition switched wire, i'm hoping there is one in the engine bay that i can splice it into
