:confused: :confused: we are trying to replace the old fan with an electric one there is a wire that has to be connected to the battery and also a yellow wire that has to be connected to a 12v ignition source there is a relay and fuse in the kit it came with what can i hook this wire to ?? its a 2001 pathfinder

Your best best would be to tap into the bottom of the fuse box under the hood. There should be plenty of things there that are post-ignition. Consider tapping into two sources, though, to avoid the possibility of the fan not running due to a wiring issue on one item.

Are you planning on manually controlling it, temperature controlling it or just having it on whenever the ignition is on ?

If you set it up to run when the engine is on you may run into overcooling situations in the winter

Either go manual or consider temperature controlled
