I want to remove the mech fan on my s14 and re-wire the elec. radiator fan to run full time. I have found plenty of helpful walkthroughs on the procedure but am having a difficult time locating the fan relay. The black box under the hood has 2 plugs for the fan one being labled rad high and the other rad low. Because the cooling system is so vital to engine survival in the short and long run, I really don't want to Fu#% this little project up. Anybody konw what I'm talking about? Which relay do I need to re-wire?:D

Im in the exact same situation. I have asked this before and received no answers from here.

Maybe cut all 4 wires at the AC fan and figure out afterwards which is for what somehow.

what's up man. Yeah it's a ****ty prediciment to be in. I know a guy down here that did the project. If I can get a hold of him I'll post which relay to use. I know for a fact that you only cut 1 wire....I just don't know which relay to cut it in. I thought someone on here might know right off the bat. Always try the easiest way 1st.

After i removed the mechanical fan on my sr i reinstalled the a/c electric fan motor to a koyo aluminum radiator and wired the relay to turn on the fan whenever the key is turned on and it never gets over 1/2 on the gauge even with the a/c on and i live in central florida. If you remove the hi fan relay and check it with your test light you should find a wire that is hot with the key off and one that is hot with the key on this is the one that you want. Remove the relay holder( not hard at all) and cut the wire that is key hot. Then cut the wire that is battery hot. Take the key hot wire on the harness side and hook it to the battery hot on the relay plug. Take up the cut hot wire and button it up and you should be key hot.
