thanks evildky I'll check it out. I bought this 300zx about two years ago off of e bay they been selling parts of of it .!00 % rust free but they stripped the inside bad.I bought most of the parts off e bay to rebuild it. Then I got sick and it set in my shop for over a year. But it's starting to look good thanks to my wife's help. New carpet ,seats. headliner. Bose radio. Now I just hope it starts when I get ready.

Just buy a thermostat from Autozone or Advance. I personally bought one of the adjustible probe style ones. The electronic ones are more complex to wire up.

The simplest way to wire it up is to run a wire from the battery to the positive on the thermostat. Then run a negative out of the thermostat into the positive wire for the efan, then run a wire from the negative out of the fan to a ground. One of the bolts for the stock airbox is a good place to ground it. The kit comes with wire, but I'd suggest buying a pack or two of electrical connectors and some shrink wrap.

Once everything is wired up, unravel the probe, being careful to not pinch or bend the metal tube that leads to it. Attach the probe to the radiator as close to the fins as possible.

I'd suggest buying an inline fuse and wiring it in between the battery and the thermostat as well.
