Electric fan?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

some people say it adds performance... how by cooling better? does it replace huge stock fan?

It replaces the stock crank driven fan which frees up some lost horse power. Not much, but some.

Some of the guys who live in cooler areas like to wire in the A/C fan as their electric, but in a warmer climate, a real electric fan replacement is better.

Definetly install thermo fans if you plan on doing anymore mods.

all ima do is headers intake exhaust and maybe spark plugs so do i really need it?

I've got a Flex-a-lite dual 12" puller type on my 95 H-Body p/u. I live in Texas and when I'm sitting in traffic in the middle of the summer (100+ degrees)it's nice to know I have it.

But I really didn't notice any kind of significant gain in hp.

I run a 14" perma-cool 6-blade...in GA heat(90+deg.) its good to have, I like the added insurance over the A/C fan rewire, even though I have freinds that have done it that way.-chetI notice a good difference above 3500rpm, it seems smoother and a bit more pull, nothing to write home about, but its there.
