Electric Fan Question

I've been running a 14" Electic fan from CXRacing for over a year now with no problems, up until now. On startup, everything is fine (charges 14v) besides alternator squel. When the fan kicks on, or when its night time and I have the headlights on, the car will idle low and charge 12.5v after cruising, then slowly idle back up. So all in all there is a significant difference in idle with the headlights and fan running. My question is, could the fan be drawing to much current and causing this? I had the alternator tested and it tested good, but this was with the fan not running. Battery is also good, but is a lawn and garden battery relocated to the trunk. I also have new idle control parts coming in to make sure I dont have an idle issue.

So far I see my options as the following:

-New Fan
-New Alternator
-New Battery

any ideas.
