Electric fan question?

Hi , I searched but couldn't find the exact answer on the electric fan. I have a 1990 240sx and was thinking of putting an electric fan on it to replace the original. Is there a horsepower gain from this or noticable quicker response? And I think this is right, the electric fan runs off the battery and the original is pulled by a belt so the electric improves performance?

not really hp gain, but it will stay cool, why do u want to do this? are u stock?

it's not a noticable increase in hp, but it did gain me almost 2hp at the flywheel
