electric fan problems. 93 240sx

Hey guys, i'm new here and this is my first post. I have a 1993 nissan 240sx with a stock KA motor. Here is my problem. My electric fan ( the one in between the radiator and the main fan) broke. When i say broke i mean the arms holding the fan to the radiator literally snapped. yesterday i put another electric fan on as a replacement (this fan was used) and today the exact same thing happened. The arms snapped again. This happened during throttle up and moderate-heavy acceleration. Has anyone ever heard of this happening or has this ever happened to any of you?

Something is contacting them. Make sure your clutch fan isn't the culprit and that your fan shroud is properly in place.

I was thinking today that maybe the fan clutch had something to do with it...like maybe it was torquing it in some way that the electric fan hit the shroud...idk we sent it into Nissan...i doubt they will tell us anything useful haha.
