I was wondering if any of you have done the electric fan swap. If you have, how did you install the electric thermostat and the wiring and what do you think of it? Also any recommendations for an electric water pump?

by the way I've got a 89 S13.

thanks

Swap? You already have an electric fan. All 240s do.

Really. K, smart guy, I'm guessing you have a DOHC, look behind your fan shroud, in front of the clutch fan that YES, we all have too, and you'll see it. The SOHCs have a pusher fan in front of the condenser, DOHCs have a puller fan behind the radiator, in addition to the clutch fan. Comes on with the AC, or at low speed when engine coolant temp reaches 202 degrees, high speed at 212 degrees.
