so i just finished installing my electric fans with theromostatic snap switch on my s13 sr20

i grounded my battery to test it and the fans turned on...? no key in ignition.. just on constantly..

on the relay i followed instructions that came with it

black to groundbrown to snapswitchyellow... it says connect to any 12 volt key activated circuit. then to snapswitch ( i connected it to my ignition fuse) on the passenger side

green wire connect to the power wire leading to the a/c clutch. (i connected this one to the ac fan fuse wire)

red wire is connected directly to the battery like instructed

orange wire is connected to the fan

does anyone see anything wrong here? why does the fan turn on when the battery is connected??! helpp

The ignition fuse is always hot. You need to run the keyed power to your radio or the windshield wipers. Something that comes on only when the key is on.
