I had a 14" Pacet fan on my Koyo rad and wasn't nearly as good as the stock fan.

I'm going to go for twin 12" spal fans soon.

That sucks. Maybe it was going backwards??? What happened that suggested it didn't work as well? I hope with the koyo it was able to cool the engine sufficiently.

inbetween the engine and radiator put your fans on puller

on the oppostie side put your fans on pusher.just get 2 random12 inch electric fans off ebay, youll save about 140 dallors or so.then wire them up to a switch (thats what i did but there is other ways of doing it) then to your battery. then ground the fans and your set.

i just leave the fans on always, i had it wired threw the ignition but i kept blowing fuses and it was a mess.

make sure to use a relay, i use a 25 weight fuse but you could get away with 15 or 20..

good luckmatt

Yes, it does suck being on the back of the rad.

On the road it was okay, the fan does fook all when moving at any sort of speed anyway.

On the same RR it overheated with the leccy fan, but not with the viscous one.

Bear in mind this is the UK with crap weather, it did overheat once or twice stuck motorway jams.

The koyo itself is plenty good enough to cool the engine if the air flow over it is sufficient.

The 1G Ford Tarusesss fans work preatty good, and they're all over the place in junkyards

Lots of FB RX-7 guys use them (12a's have clutch fans too)
