Does anyone have experience with converting a J30 to Electric Fans?
I want to abandon the Clutch Fan that attaches to the water pump, as two water pumps have recently broken at the nose area where the clutch fan attaches.

Any specific details regarding what components or sources of components for an E-Fan Conversion will be very helpful.

Thank You.

Why would you want to convert to an electric fan? Are you racing?

To get to the existing fan is a pain-in-the-a$$ operation. A lot has to be removed. In my personal opinion, not worth the time or effort.

As I mentioned, the reason for wanting to convert to electric fans is I've had two (2) water pumps break, sending the clutch fan into the radiator. This damages the water pump, the clutch fan, and the radiator, causing ALL THREE to need replacement. So everything already has to be removed. Yes, this is a pain-in-the-a$$, solely because of everything that needs to be removed to access the water pump, and I don't want to repeat this repair yet again. Hence, my desire to convert to electric fans. The I30, Maxima and Altima of the 1990s all have dual electric fans as stock, so this is not a huge engineering feat. In my opinion, the J30 should also have been equipped with the same dual electric fans as stock just like the Altima, Maxima and I30.

I believe I am going to convert to the Nissan Altima two-speed dual electric fans w/shroud, which is a close fit to the J30 radiator.

The J30 already has one stock electric (push) fan on the outside of the AC condenser which is wired to engage when the AC is turned on. So I believe no accommodation may be needed to be wired for AC with the added Nissan Altima (pull) electric fans.
