Hello,I am new here. Could anyone pls offer reasonable suggestion to repair non operating electric antenna on my much beloved 95' 240SX? The antenna motor sounds like it is trying to operate when the radio is turned off/on. I am not having any luck with either my Chilton or owner's manual. Pls help and don't just say "leave the radio off". Thanks, Sarina

Chances are the plastic cord that does the actual raising and lowering has snapped. You may need to replace the whole assembly or find a monkey at an audio place that knows how to rebuild/replace the cord.

You could just replace the mast of the antenna and that should fix it unless your motor is gone which would require you to replace the antenna motor. This is for a S13 but zerothread?id=256470
