My car is a 92 s13 fastback. I'm not so great on electrical wiring, help me. Im still finishing up my ka-t project but when i come to start it i found some problems. Every led on the right side, in the gauge cluster, stays on even after i take my key totally out of the ignition. Also when i take a fuses out from under the dash (while those lights are on and i left my key in the ignition but not turne dall teh way), the relay for the eccs, in the engine bay, goes crazy. It makes a buzzing noise. Wasnt bad but i replaced it. I tried it again and it does the same. I believe I have an short perhaps? All relays and in engine bay seem to be ok. Haven't checked in the car yet. When I did get the car to start sometimes I was running perfect afrs, at idle low 14. Although other times when i started it, it would run exreamly lean or a bit rich to very rich. Then My fuel pump,(walbro 255), starts making this weird noise. I rewired it like ka-t's artical (http://www.ka-t.org/walbrorewire.htm) but for an s13 just to see so i could get my car started atlest now. Still sounds the same (maybe i need more gas in my tanks?, it's low). WHen it was running, i got it to run for how long i wanted to run. Then it start to become a point where it would start then die as this sound from the alternator came on. I replaced the alternator and now i'm stumped. Im using a different battery. Still the same bs. im stumpped on what to try next.
