Alrighty so a few months ago I bought some Eibachs off someone and it has finally come time to throw'em on.
:ohno:
Problem 1: Since they're used I don't have the instructions that normally come with them such as how much to trim the bump stop (front or rear?), and which way they go in since they're progressive and all. Or does that even matter?

Problem 2: The springs are in good condition except one of the front springs has the silencing rubber starting to come off a tad. If that were to come off is that the end of the world as far as noise goes or something I could live with?

thanks in advance.

1. The tighter end of the spring goes upward. I'm not sure if it's coincidence, but the eibach logo should be right side up when installed properly. lol yes simple logic that I wasn't aware of

2.The front bump stops are to be trimmed 25mm, easily done with a box cutter.

3. The silencing rubber was causing the spring to spin when being compressed at the shop, so since one spring had the rubber splitting already I just took it off all of them. So far I haven't heard a single pop or pinching noise and I've been doing a good amount of driving.

Overall I love them! The car brakes better and corners nicely. And of course doesn't look like it's a 4x4 anymore...
