Okay, question. What happens if I don't pull the light control fuse? Could I then use the light button for flipping the lights up and down? And the switch to turn the light on and off? Or will the headlights just keep popping back up when turned on?johntom wrote:well to begin, just pull out the headlamp control switch and cut the brown wire, i used a swiss army knife because i couldnt fit snippers around the other wire.
step 2- now just turn your lights on and they will pop up all the way, turn off the lights and they will stay up (good job u cut the brown wire)
step 3-just quickly press the headlamp control button in and out until desired position is reached.
step 4, in your acessory fuse box (drivers side kick box) and pull the 5a fuse on the right side labled *light control*
conlusion- after pulling the fuse you can now turn your healights ON and still have them sleepy witch is much easier than buying a switch and wire tucking from the fuse box to the switch
p.s next time you want your healights all the way up again pop the 5a fuse back in and they are back in perfect working order
Well, I don't know about you, but I'm not gonna be pulling out and replacing a fuse everytime I either want sleepy eyes or wide awake eyes. It would be way easier to wire in a small switch in line on the fuse so you don't have to remove it, only flip the switch removing the fuse circuit from the headlight circuit. bam! Now it's the "easiest". But like said, REPOST!!!!!!johntom wrote:next time you want your healights all the way up again pop the 5a fuse back in and they are back in perfect working order
