So now that we have another winter with the coupes and more owners being able to customize them this year, I was just wondering how everyone faired with their lowered cars and the winter conditions. I'd really like to install a set of Eibach on my coupe but just don't want to have the problems of past having a car that is too low for the winter.

Any information you guys have would be greatly appriciated

- This form is more for those of us lucky enough to live in the heavy snowbelt regions -

Well...make sure your winter tires are stock size or larger. I was using 235/45R17 and scrapped the s*** out of my undercarriage. I then went to 225/60 (or was it 65) R16 and didn't have too many issues. It still tended to get stuck in the really deep stuff, so I tried to avoid that where at all possible.

Had no problems with drop and stock tires/rims, but didnt really get too much snow this winter. I think the most that we saw was 1 foot. And that melted within 2 days. weird winter

EDIT: I have ADD and tend to skip parts of people's posts. You specified people that had lots of snow. I fail

I've had plenty of snow this year and had blizzaks on the stock rims with the eibachs. Havent really bottomed out much due to the snow, but I have plowed a highway or two on my way up to ski mountains (and I go skiing EVERY time there is a big storm, or little storm, or there is snow anywhere in the world ). Only thing you have to watch out for is the potholes from the plows. When they make the deeper ones and it warms up some and fills the potholes in with water, you can bend a rim up easily if you dont notice it and drive through it . I wouldn't go too oversized on the tires as you'll likely rub going over a speed bump or something. Just get a decent set of snow tires, and take it slow.
