Well this much is proven to work on the Eibach drop as far as aggressive fits:
245/35-20 = 26.7520x8.5 +35
245/40-19 = 26.7119x8.5 +34
I forget whose running the 20's but I based my clearance off his no rub fitment. Both are slight oversize tire diameters which also play a factor in rubbing. Mine are extreme close, by eye the tire side wall is just about flush with the fender. I can't imagine pushing the tire out any further with a smaller offset. The wheel width could also be a problem as something wider will let the side wall outer further. Beyond the 8.5" wheel and 245 tire, it's all math after that. Take what people are saying is flush and compensate for the wheel width.
If you drop it more than the Eibach and align the camber, the fender may end up right on top of the wheel and not "tucked" like all the BMW's you see running around with no wheel gap.
