Hello everyone, I recently bought the eibach pro kit and had them installed about 6 weeks ago, I have noticed a clunking? sound coming from the left front side. The sound is definitely coming from the front left spring/strut area?............... I notice this clunk sound when backing up slow and moving forward slow and when I turn the wheel from one side to the other I can hear the sound definitely coming from the shock/strut area. What do you think the shop did wrong?........... the right side as no issues only the left side. I just want this problem fixed but just can't find the solution. Help.............. any ideas?

Mike

master strut nut not tightened..... the center has to be held by an allen wrench and the nut tightened around it.

thanks you guys, I will give it a try later today, I had the car back to the shop twice and they could not find the problem. So to be clear use an Allen wrench and wrench to tighten the nut.

I'm having the same problem as you. Took it to the shop and they couldn't find what was wrong. He said they torqued down that master bolt. I guess I'll have to buy the special wrench myself and tighten this ho down. I tried the other day and I couldn't get it to tighten any more. Good luck.

That's right for only the master bolt which is the one bolt not bolted to the body of the car when you're looking under the hood by the strut tower.

You use the allen to hold the strut in place and the wrench to tighten. It's possible something else is loose, but in the past others have tightened the master bolt and that solved the problem.

Should have installed them yourself instead of being a girl and paying someone else to do it.

So if you feel like being a girl. What the best place to have them installed at? Thanks.
