eibach springs installed problem

So , i got my springs installed. It's been 3 weeks now and when i turn the steering wheel, It make a grinding noise. I have tighten the master bolts but sound still there?? Please help..

do u have after market rims? Fat or 19s or 20s

I had my friend installed it for me...and no..i'm still on stock wheels.

Grinding, that stinks. I have no idea what could be rubbing. Does grinding = rubbing?

didnt you check the front endlinks. those do pop out of place sometimes.

I actually have the same problem.. Sound comes from the front end. Yes i do have 20's.. front is 225/35/20.. rubbing isnt the problem.. sounds more of a grind.

i have wide 20's with eibachs and no issues. slap your friend and take it somewhere and get um fixed.

If it only does it while moving I would maybe say motor mounts.....

if it happens when turning the steering wheel, maybe the upper strut mount bearing is bad

my front right wheel started making that noise as well. I'm thinking maybe its the bump stop? I didn't cut them, even though stillen instructions tell you to do it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has this issue though.

I found out its actually inside the strut itself. I had taken out the strut from the car and moved the internals around like it was turning with a wheel and its binding with something inside. I'm taking the spring off this weekend to see if it was the install or the strut

While were on this sort of topic i'm getting my springs installed monday and was wondering if i should get an allignment with it, the guy recomended but i'm not sure if its needed. Thanks, sorry to change topics a bit
