I am considering putting on Eibach lowering springs (6388.14). These have a 1.2" drop in front and 0.8" in the rear.
I know there are many posts on this topic, but I wanted to get the latest recommendations.
I have a 2008 G37S Coupe.
Will I need a Camber Kit ?
Alot of people say no, and some say yes.

You should not need a camber kit with a Eibach kit. I would suggest an alignment afterward, make sure camber and toe are still in spec when done.

I am having Eibach sprngs installed on my 09' G37X. The drop is 1.9 frnt and 1.6 rear. I have been told I will need camber kits front and rear. Is this a true statement?

On the safe side? I'd say yes. I'm appx 2" down all around and needed front and rear to get camber set to not eat tires.

Yeah, I went the bolt route first only to find out the place that installed them didn't follow the directions to cut the hole bigger. Then they refused because of legal reasons. Infiniti locally here would not do it either for the same reason. I didn't have time nor the will so I ordered the arms. Worked out fine.

I'm not sure what I should do at this point...I ordered the Eibach springs for the coupe and I have the sedan. I have been told they will fit but may be too much of a drop for my G37X sedan here on this forum. Drop is 1.9 front and 1.6 rear. I have the rear Eibach kit with the arms on the way. Was going to order the fronts as well, until i was told it might be too low for my sedan. I already have the springs and I am getting a hard time about returning them. Got them on Ebay. They said they will take them back, but I have to pay for return shipping and shipping for the replacement springs for the sedan which is a lower drop. I was told that people on this forum had problems with bottoming suspension with that drop on the sedan. Should I just keep them and do the camber kits front and rear? I know that wont help with possible bottoming the suspension out. Looks like this could end up costing me a lot of extra $$! I think Im done ordering off of Ebay and Amazon for car parts. Problem with exhaust through Amazon, now springs through Ebay!! WTF? I could just return them and get springs through Tunerzstore.com, but then I will have to pay for return shipping AND a 25% restocking fee! What to do?

I can't answer that question, something you will have to figure out what is best for you.

I don't have a X sedan so I don't have personal experience but I did have a similar experience with the h-tech springs on my coupe. I can only regurgitate what I see and hear from others in regards to the X. This thread contains that info so I don't need to rehash. At this point you can send them back, bite the cost, and get the springs that Mike and others are saying will work better. Or, you can go ahead and install the ones you have and leave it at that. When people say the ride sucks with those springs I don't have a clue what they are comparing it to so maybe you may find it acceptable. If you don't then you have a set of used springs and wasted time or money getting them installed and getting alignments. Unfortunately you are in this situation and it sux.

If it were me I'd pay the shipping and get the springs others with an X have said works best. Obviously I can't take any blame for saying that if it goes to crap ;)

I am returning the springs and paying for the shipping back. They are also making me pay for the replacements shipping as well. These are going to end up being some expensive springs in the end!! :(

It'll still be worth it, believe me! My car became a lot more fun to drive after I installed the Eibach springs.

As for the camber issue, I don't see how anyone wouldn't want to install the camber arms after the springs, at least in the rear. I wasn't going to at first until I saw how severe the negative camber was after the install. I even got an alignment, but there wasn't enough adjustment built into the car to pull it anywhere near spec. Take a look at the printout of my alignment that was done after the spring install. You will see that they weren't really able to correct the camber at all without the adjustable arms. I actually left the front alone since it's not that far out of spec (as per me) but I installed the camber arms with toe kit. The rear camber is now set to -1.1* and I think it's perfect.

I still need to adjust the toe bolts in the back a bit.

I just ordered the Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs for 07 G35x. It's a 1.4in drop in the front and a 1.1in the rear. From what I've been told by other guys, it doesn't sound like I'll need the camber kit. I will be getting a proper alignment after all is said and done but do you guys agree that a camber kit will probably not be necessary for a conservative drop like that?

You will need rear camber kit for sure on the AWD sedan...
