I have got one estimate so far but it was for a few things. My place said they would do the springs with a wheel alignment and install catback exhuast for $400. I don;t know if that good because I haven;t got any other quotes yet

i paid 8 hours of my free time to put them on. Do the math. I guess u guys got a better deal.

@pharoah - umm they may void your bumper to bumper on your struts thats about it. The only way they will know is if they take apart the struts and see that the bump stop was cut.

@ jstinky - just an alignment. I may be wrong but i think the springs reduce the life of your struts by 10 to 15 percent.

More sporty / harsh ride for 1st time users. The struts take a hit to their life expectancy. Recommend to get stru tower bar to assist wit hcornering.

One requirement when complete : 4 wheel alignment, as your tires will go bad early, otherwise.

@ dldjros69Eight hours?!?!? Dude, what took you so long? I had mine done in under four!Getting an alignment isn't entirely necessary when dropping our cars. It's true that there's no camber kit available, but as long as you're careful when doing the install you shouldn't have a problem. I haven't noticed any adverse tire wear since installing my springs nearly 20,000km ago and I know there are several other people on the boards here who never bothered with an alignment either and haven't had any problems.

Doing springs on your own is incredibly easy...just a little daunting if it's your first time! You can doooo it!

Haha you are right what took so long.

the first front tired took all the time. My uncle let me borrow his cheap generic flimsy spring compressor and made the uninstall extremely difficult. My dad ran to advanced auto and rented one a good one. The rest of the 3 wheels took 4 hours.

Ive had no tire issues so far

Haha, that's cool. I was just messin' with ya anyhow!Yeah, the fronts are the most time consuming to do. The back springs took about 15min/side!
