If you are going to go with the Sportline springs, stick with the KYB AGX or Koni Sport struts. The KYB GR2 is not going to handle the lowering rate for very long without wearing out. The AGX has on the car adjustment as well. That would be the best setup.

What's with the caps all of the sudden? No need to freak out if you haven't installed them yet.

Anyhow, to spin off what Grant said. Sportlines should be coupled with the agx's or koni shocks, but with the agx's they'll blow on you in a year anyway. I speak from exp. not too sure if the koni's will do better, they may.

Sportlines are too agressive a drop, for the agx's sprint rates you cannot lower more than 1.5' (as stated by the warranty, anything more than 1.5" equals a voided warranty so you can't get free shocks if they fail) but you have GR2's and they simply 'sporty' upgrades, not for lowering.

My advice: Sell the Sportlines quick! There are plenty of people out there who will buy them in a heartbeat because they are misinformed. Get yourself either the eibach pro-kit, H&R set, anything that lowers in the 1.5'-1.8' range and get some agx's or koni's!

Ahh... I see, now I know better. I guess I'll just stay with the sportsline and KYB GR2 for now and when I need to change it, I will just get the right ones.... Lesson learned.

BTW: How long would the GR2s last me.... any rough time frame?

Also, Thank you both for the answer to my dumb question.

You live in Queens,NYC? I could imagine (from visiting my uncle a lot) that the roads there will make quick work of the GR-2's. Honestly, if i lived where you live, i'd just get new shocks and leave stock springs on. You'd be bottoming out on the belt parkway's dips and holes.

haha living in NYC, I learned how to dodge pot holes, rats, squirrels, little children and pretty much anything that gets in my way except a wall.

How can you dodge a dip that is as wide as the entire road? You know what i'm talking about, the Belt Parkway (and a lot of other highways) have dips and grooves from the heat during the summer, and the semi-trucks. You get props for dogding that stuff.
