I was wondering if you really need the Eibach Recommended Align. Kit. I just put the Eibach proset on my front wheels and I left the rears factory. My mechanic told me that my alignment was off a little and he couldnt change the camber much. He told me I should be fine.

You should be fine... But will have slight camber wear on the inside of you're front tires. I ran my car on the different sets of wheels in the last year or so and noticed some wear on the tires but changed the set frequently so cannot confirm that tires will wear completely and how fast.... I am getting my New wheels installed this week and my new tires will be more expensive so I will look into the front camber bolts this time around!! I've seen them I just can't remember at the moment where so I've got a Lil searching to do..... Good luck with your set up! :bigthumb: I will post back on here when I get it done!!

i have the eibach springs on the front and rear and they have been on since summer 2010, i just changed the tires all around to bridgestone potenza 245-40-19 and got an alignment done right after they were installed. I had some kumho tires that were 245-35-19 and the front tires were really eaten up on the inside bad. the rear tires were OK, the place that has done allof my lowered cars said there is adjustment on the back but the front there is no adjustment without the upper control arms. He did say to just check the inside wear on the tires with every oil change and rotate every other oil change and they should be fine.

if you are gonna keep the car for more than 1 set of tires, I would get something to correct the camber. rotating the tires when both the front and rear have negative camber will unlikely give you much improvement in tire wear since they' will continue to wear unevenly. the only fix in that regard would be to remount the tires on the opposite side wheels (so the inside of tire is now the outside) - a proposition that due to costs rarely would seem to save any money in my opinion.

as to what kit to get- the eibach one gives a lot of adjustment it seems but is pricey. I'd love to hear more opinion on the bolts out there and how much camber they were able to correct for as a few people have used them but I haven't seen the numbers on how out of spec they were initially. If you could get 0.5 degrees of correction, it would be money. Bodyguard, looking forward to hearing your experience.

I never got either the bolts nor the eibach camber kit. I have changed wheels and tires many times so I could not give a good review of this.... :gotme

I do however want to preserve my new Hankook tires so I am currently on the lookout for a kit.... Would like to hear about others experience on this subject!!

I had 18"s with 245/45/18 asymetrical good years and they lasted over 30k miles with eibach drop. Idk why everyone is complaining about camber wear when all you need is a good alignment every year or so and rotate between every 3-6k miles. Yes I do get slight cambr wear but nothing to cause premature tire wear and require me to get new tires often. I'm not saying its a bad idea to get the alignment kits but that I have not needed them for the whole 2 yrs I had eibach springs on. Now that I have airsuspension I pretty much ride at the same height so nothing has really changed besides adjustability in height.

I'm not complaining about tire wear... I was just commenting how I have changed wheels and tires so much but by choice not due to tire wear... I now am going to a staggered set up and front tires will have to be watched closely since I won't be doing Four wheel rotation. Still my shop did get me as close to spec as possible and I did just fine!! :bigthumb:

Wasn't pointing the finger at you or anyone just stating my opinoin too. Lol. the -2.X amount of camber eibach gives to the front isn that bad. I have -3.5 or so in the rears and directional tires now and that hasn't done any crazy damage. I've had staggered before and nothing seen there as well. Also Nitto makes some neo gen tires made for cars with camber, haven't tried them yet but its worth looking into.
