So my friend and I just finished installing all 4 springs. took 8 hours! Hardest part was using the spring compressors and getting the new eibachs into the strut.

This morning i took a drive and heard a squeak from the driver rear wheel.

I jacked the car up but it has all the clearance. So i am not sure what is the problem.

My first guess is the bushing might have shifted. But it is a very weird squeaking sound that only happeneds at speeds of less then 20mph.

Any ideas?

We did it in a garage so no air gun or anything. But I have a lifetime alignment at firestone.

The test drive after the install my buddy and I did not head a thing. It was not till the next morning when i went out i started hearing a squeak. Took it to firestone for the alignment and told them to air gun the suspension (So it should be tight).

I will be checking the bushing tomorrow.

Thank you for the reply, this post has been up for a while with no replies.

I fixed the squeak . . . .

Firestone forgot to tighten the bolts on my rear driver side wheel. That thing could have popped off! They claim it was not their fault but gave me the lifetime alignment for free.

NEW ISSUES!

There is a sound of metal on metal banging coming from what I believe to be the front strut assembly. I jacked up the car but I do not see any visible damage. I am clueless to what could be banging when I go over bumps. My best guess is that the strut has no more room to compress? It is just bottoming out?

Please help! Still am kinda scared to drive me car anywhere far away from home. Do not want to get stranded!

I called the dealer but they wont get back to me till tomorrow.

Any ideas???

Did you trim the bump stop rubbers? Recommended amount is one inch (25 mm). Left untrimmed, the strut will bottom out one inch earlier on bad bumps.

I fixed the problem and in the end it was not the springs at all. My friend and I did the installation of the springs perfect.

The problem was the racingline endlinks (Front)!

They lower part where the endlinks meet the sway bar were loose. The reason why i did not see this right away may have been do to the fact that my friend and i only have one floor jack and as we jacked up they one side of the car the pressure from the hanging strut we could only tighten the endlink so much.

After taking it to a professional garage who could raise the car all at once under its own weight could we see that the endlink on all fours was actually loose. For some reason the people who did the alignment did not catch this after i had specifically asked them to check everything i touched; Struts and shocks, the bolts that hold the rotor assembly to the strut itself, and the endlinks. They told me that they had tightened them down bt obviously not.

I Hope more people interested in Eibachs and Endlinks can learn from my experience and will not have the same issues as i did.

Good luck!

Thank you for the update. This information is very helpful, since I am very interested on the Racingline endlinks.
