How are the teins with the KYB GR2? or should the AGX work better?

GR2 = shiz. Its basically a stock replacement. Spend the extra 100 and get adjustable AGXs. I wouldnt recommend anything but those. I have them with sportlines and they're great. I know Teins are a bit of a rougher ride. Prokits are made by Eibach and eibach always has quality products. Teins are good, but between them and the Prokit id go with the prokit.

What about prokit vs sportlines??? I know sportlines are a lower drop.. I don't want it to be so low that my tires are rubbing, nor do I want to bounce around like a civic hb with cut springs..

Its not bad at all. I have some ugly 18s with low pro tires and there is still room in the fender for sure. I really think that sportlines vs. prokit is more or less what you want out of them. The sportlines will give you a more aggresive drop, therefore rougher ride, prokit gives less of a drop with a little better ride. With AGXs, the sportlines really arent bad and look good. If i didnt get sportlines id get H&R, but now im just confusing you.

Get the RSR, stiffest spring rate I could find. Unless you want a nice comfy wussy ride, get some of the progressive low spring rate ones.

RSR Race Springs Front: 279 lb/in | 1.4" Rear: 251 lb/in | 1.2"

Eibach ProKit (Progressive) Front: 114-200 lb/in | -1.8" Rear: 114-148 lb/in | 1.6"

Eibach Sportlines (Progressive) Front: 137-230 lb/in | 2.2" Rear: 128-200 lb/in | 2.1"

Tein S.Tech Front = 3.2 kg/mm | 179 lb/in Rear = 2.9 kg/mm | 162 lb/in

I dont want it so rough that its going to suck.. im not a wuss, but it would suck to drive up to my dads house which will be 2 hours away when i move and be miserable.. i guess ill do sportlines if they dont have any clearance issues

$85??? that seems too cheap - like the ghetto ones on ebay.. does anyone else have the springs from megan racing?

Sweet! Who needs to be able to go over a speed bump when you can be bouncing over potholes and bottoming out?! :pface

In all seriousness, Megan does make some pretty good quality stuff at really nice prices. I say if you don't mind feeling like you're in a go cart, go for it.

does anyone know anything about the 'whiteline' series lowering springs that PDM Racing is selling?? They have a good price for a KYB AGX & Whiteline suspension combo.... I have thought about that... Seems to be a good combo and at a good price...

yes, i have megan racing on mine. They're very very good. They're a brand that is coming up. NOt some crappy ebay ones. And for that price, i got it 85 dollars shipped to my door.

If you dont like the rough ride, then get some eibachs, they're like soft as stock. But i dunno why you wouldn't want it stiffer. It wouldn't "bounce" like cut springs. Freaking stiff man, i would think that's what most people would want.

i love the S.Tech's on my S13. almost zero body roll while taking off/on ramps. i also have front and rear STBs so that may help. oh, and i have AGX's.

Does anyone have coilovers on their aftermarket shocks, like the AGX shocks in particular. I was thinking about trying out the dropzone coilovers on AGX, I just like to be able to adjust ride height. Also, could you guys put up pics of your cars with the different suspension setup to see how it lowers the car?
