I was speaking with Kyle and Josh on Thursday. If the A/C suspension is built like the G35 there are not camber adjustments.

No camber adjustments?... Acuras don't have camber adjustments either. They come preset from the factory. Hopefully no camber adjustments need to be made but I'm sure just by looking at the wheel, you'd know wehether or not you'll need them or not/ Either case, your ride looks great!

Has Kyle or Josh mentioned how much the springs will be yet? I preordered mine and they told me that the springs are $249 (preordered price) and that the retail price form eibach is l ike $300 something.

I can't say for certain what the price is. I did hear however it might be around the $230 shipped range.

When I dropped my 97 integra it needed serious camber adj... I thought everything was groovy until I looked under the wheel well and my tires were bald on the inside and it was horrible. I want to make sure before I purchase these so I won't have any problems like that again!! (my fault, should have known better)

No camber adjustments needed. I will take some pics later of the wheels and show you

Maybe its just me... but the drop doesnt seem as cool as i thought it would be... i was kinda bummed that my 20s wouldnt tuck under the fender... And then i was thinking i should have got 18s and took the drop... but i think im content with the 20s and stock suspension.... id love to see the drop on a set of aftermarket 18's....

I did a write up on this a while back... its not just about the size of the wheels 18,19,20... its the offset and tires that make the biggest difference.

I'm gonna do the calculations print them and post them here.. it'll show a few different widths, tire sizes, and offsets.. gonna take an hour or so to do it right... I'll have it up tonight! Again, these are all raw numbers that won't be exact in real world situations... The thing people also forget about regarding the drop vs. various offsets is that its not the outer edge of the fender you need to clear, the inner edge isn't flat, it sticks out a bit and that needs to be cleared as well!

The biggest thing we are all concerned about regarding the drop and +35 offset is rubbing when going over bumps. Although your wheels don't tuck under the fender, they won't rub with normal driving, its the bumps...

the good news is that Eduardo's car is a 2.5 Sedan, that's two factors that differ... remember, both the suspension is different between the 2.5 and the 3.5... and its also different between the cupe and the sedan. So there's a chance that the suspension is so stiff in the 3.5SE coupes that even with the drop, the back tires won't rub... the fox marketing guy said he had like +19 offset rear wheels with a 1.5" drop, and he said he didn't have rubbing issues. When I questioned him about rubbing when going over bumps, he never responded...

So, for the Altima coupes with 3.5 engines, the stock suspension may be stiff enough to avoid rubbing when going over bumps, regardless of the offset on the rear wheels.... we will see whenever

1. Adidas gets some aftermarket wheels or...

2. The eibachs become available to the rest of the public......

Blake, since you get everything else for free, why doesn't everyone on tyhe forum donate $10 to blake so he can get a set of free +35 offset aftermarket wheels, install them with the springs, and see what happens...

Keep the spare in the trunk...Another reason for keeping the diameter of the after market wheel close to that of the stock wheel.

I was just wondering if they had to cut anything from the stock crown on the strut? I remember when I was helping my cousin and his friend install eibachs on his friends mazda 6, there was a foam piece that was attached to the top/crown of the strut that had to be cut about 4 inches off, inorder for the set up to sit properly...

As far as i know you don't need to modify anything. However i wasn't there when they were putting the springs on. I would call Eibach and ask if you really need to know

Pretty happy with the look of the drop. I have plans to do the Stillen body kit so I do see myself going to low, not to mention driving on a stiff suspension gets old. Nice even gap all around the tire.

Adidas,

Your car looks beautiful. Very classy, Very Nice! I have the same color 3.5 coupe and I am glad to see the drop and the stillen kit on your car before I do mine. It is a beautiful car you have there. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see which wheels you put on. I am having the darndest time trying to decide on a set. I think I found some I like, Tenzo's I think they were called.

Anyway, beautiful ride!
