Ive got a chance to buy these springs for 80 dollars for my s13. I need to know how difficult a diy job would be, and what it would entail. Any guesses on costs from a shop? Please no reccomendations for other springs... its either these or nothing else. Also, would a camber kit be a good idea, or should i just have this all done at the shop and have them use the stock adjustment. Im a suspension newbie so yeah. Thanks

If you are going to replace your stock springs with Eibachs, you are going to need new struts as well. No way your worn out stock struts are going to be able the load for much longer with the tougher springs in place. The installation is pretty much straight forward, even something that you can do yourself at home with a basic set of tools and a couple of jackstands. You will just need to rent a spring compressor but I believe that Autozone has those in stock. As far as the camber kit goes, you might want to pick one up as well, at least for the rear wheels, but seeing that you probably will get new shocks, I don't know if that will fit in your budget. Myself, I ride on Eibach Pro's and KYB AGX's and I am very satisfied with them. Though not as adjustable as full coilovers, it's still quite a bang for the buck.Hit me up with any more questions here on NICO or on AIM-Seyath2000.

But any idea what the price of just the springs install would be?

Well, I don't know where you live so labor rates will vary greatly from state to state. I personally did the install myself. It's really not that difficult, plus I'm sure there is a detailed write-up out there somewhere. It took me 5 hrs to do mine with only hand tools, regular jacks and first time doing it.

i cant imagine paying someone to do it for me, but if i had to i wouldnt pay them more than like $100, but i imagine they charge alot more than that.

you will need an alignment, ive found that to be true especially in the rear. Id help you do it if you lived around here.

Ya I took a suspension auto tech class, and I could probably do it in about 2-3 hours. Its definately worth doing it yourself. You gain experience that way! So seyath, how much was your setup? I'm looking into the same myself, or konis.

grilled cheese, when i bought my konis, i believe they were $300 for the fronts and $200 for the rears, eibach pro-kits, or RSR race springs both cost around $215 new. or you could buy my pro-kits for $120.

Install them yourself, its not too difficult and you learn more about your car that way.
