Decent, but not terrific. In the Nashville area so always seems we have tons of construction going on. And to your point of also wanting to do a subtle drop. The eibachs are not a subtle drop so you should definitely consider something else.06x wrote:How good/bad are the roads around where you live? I also want to do a subtle drop if I get an M but living in the greater NYC area and driving 22k+ miles a year, it's something I have to worry about.
Yep, that is my opinion and my wife's lol. Others on the board seem to say Eibachs are a little stiffer than stock, but not by much. I am not sure if they were coming from the OEM sport springs though? More than willing to give test rides to anyone around the Nashville area to validate my claims!DoN_BLaZe34 wrote:You really think the car rides better than stock? Lol that alone makes me want the Eibachs now.
How much did you drop? Or what's your ground-to-fender height now?cjrdriven wrote:Ya, but those numbers are not that accurate. I am dropped more than that on front and rear.
thats a great way to find out the 'actual drop' figures...I measured my car last night and I am getting it lowered today...I will compare the two measurements once I get my car back.cjrdriven wrote:Did this last night, but forgot to post, so from memory. Ground to fender 26.2 inches front and 26.6 inches rear. Might not be exact, exact, but close.

Yes I did. Finished with my second alignment now. I am still a little out of spec at 1.4 in the rear and 1.5 in the front. Not horrible, but still have some tweaking to do to get it where I want it, around 1.2ish or so.DoN_BLaZe34 wrote:Beautiful...simply beautiful...
Did you ever get the camber bolts and get your alignment done?
After the first install and post week torque, I now only retorque them when I have the tires rotated. That's all. Never had an issue with the eibach spacers on my previous car losing any torque.CPJ LB wrote:look'n clean!!! nothing like a nice drop.![]()
btw cjdriven, since I lowered my car and added spacers, i was told by my wheel/tire guy that it's a good idea to retorque the lug nuts weekly -- or depending on driving style...just curious if you do so as well...
got it...that was the line I was going with....I just didn't want to spend my afternoons retorquing...LOL. short trips to and from work is all i do.cjrdriven wrote:After the first install and post week torque, I now only retorque them when I have the tires rotated. However, some would say better safe than sorry. So do what makes you comfortable.

I believe wheels are 22x8.5, tires 245/30/22 all around not sure on offset?mexillis wrote:it all depends on width of your rims, offsets, and tire sizes. Post that up and some of us might know if that'll work or not.
I went to the wheel shop to get specs on my wheel setup. 22x8.5, +45 offset, 245/30/22 rubber all around! Started to get quotes on the eibach pro kit installed and I got a great price(Ithink) $477 no camber though...still not sure if I will do it..almost 5 bills for something that will burn my tires quicker and not have proper alignment just for a little added drop stance?? Took some pics to show the spacing and gap in the wheel well. Maybe some of you guys can tell me if I'm crazy for wanting a drop? Opinions wanted!!mexillis wrote:it all depends on width of your rims, offsets, and tire sizes. Post that up and some of us might know if that'll work or not.
