I have 22x9 ACE Mesh7 wheels.. with a +38 offset all the way around..

245/30/22 continental DWS tires.

I recently installed my springs, new kyb gr2 shocks, SPC/Eibach front upper adjustable control arms and SPC rear adjustable control arms with exteme toe bolts.

Install wasn't too bad besides milling out that slot for the Toe bolts.. because the bracket for the 4 wheel steering is steel and the carbide burr chattered alot. Still wasn't too bad I guess, overall.. but definitely worth it IMO. Install of all the suspension etc took around 5 hrs..

The drop is PERFECT on 22's IMO.

I am glad I went ahead and got the good suspension parts from eibach/SPC.. I toyed around with the idea of ichiba or whatever.. but eff that ... chinese junk. Learned that lesson before.

I just got an alignment done.. which was way over priced IMO.. but I needed to take it to a body shop for the alignment due to the adjustable camber arms up front. They said I needed a "race alignment" haha..

My primary focus was even tire wear.. then performance.

The car rides nicer than it did on the stock Sport suspension and stock 19's. I think its due to my tire choice .. the Continental DWS are super quiet and very comfortable. I have a tiny bit more feedback in my steering wheel.. but the overall ride is better/more comfortable and definitely more sporty. (the Kyb gr2 arent designed for the sport model.. so they are a little more soft than the oem sport shocks)

The Drop is perrrfect :)

Finally got my custom tags in :)

Thanks to Coz @ ConceptZperformance.. I got a kickass deal on my Akebono calipers F/R, SS lines, Stoptech rotors.. and posi-quiet pads (supposedly like the lowest dust pad available)

I sent them out to Mike the powdercoater for a custom anodized red color.. I think it'lll set of the M45 perfectly.

then I think i'll do a roof spoiler.. .. paint the lil nubs on the 2007 grill black... then do an exhaust..and then i'll focus back on my 1000rwhp 300zx twinturbo build :) Its been so hot here lately.. that I didn't want to be couped up in shop ...

just figured i'd share!

Looks perfect. Do you mind sharing your cost on the suspension parts? I also am concerned first with even tire wear when I drop my car. I will be sticking to my stock rims so I just need Eibach springs and adjustable arms.

Thanks.

Hey bud..

it wasn't that cheap when you add everything up..

but off the top of my head..

I spent about..

$370 upper SPC upper front arms
$170 rear SPC arms/extreme toe bolts
$250 Eibach springs
$450 Kyb Gr2 shocks
$180 for alignment

Shop around.. you'll get great deals if you look around a bit..

I ordered my eibach from Autoanything.com.. they will do the springs $250 shipped.. and also there is a 10% rebate from eibach that you have to print out.. so you'll get it even cheaper than that..

I did the work myself besides alignment.. probably saved about $600 or so..

I didn't want to spend that much.. but if you want it done right.. spend the good money the first time and be done with it..

I wanted a comfortable ride and spc is the best you're gonna get for a street car IMO.

Very very nice. Personally I think this is one of the cleanest 22' setups that I have ever seen. Well, it does help that it's white and has the aero kit also. :bowrofl:

Oh yea.. if you are on stock suspension.. I highly recommend getting some wheel spacers to make it look more "finished"..

Some H&R or Eibach spacers IMO.. or anything that is reputable that are hubcentric spacers..

You wont get that flush look without stretching tires a bit so that the wheel is flush and tire is stretched up in a bit.. I mean.. u can.. but you'll rub for sure if you dont

haha... thanks man!

I never thought i'd fall in love with this car like I did! Ive always wanted one.. but never thought it'd be like this =)

I was going to say something like us white cars need to stick together.. but that just sounds racist as hell lol..

but yes... the White M's are def baller!

I loooked at a silver one first.. and liked it.. but just always see the silver..

once I saw the white one.. it was a wrap! and its been love ever since :)

Your ride is nice man, especially with the custom tags. If you don't mind, how much were the brake calliper?

Thanks man!

I got the hookup from Coz.. It was around 1600 shipped....that is with SS lines, stoptech crossdrilled/slotted rotors, posi-quiet pads and front/rear Akebono with shims, pins etc..

The custom powdercoating cost about $350.. including shipping there and back..

hey Kongz,

great job and great look!! nice and clean brotha...glad to see everything worked out good for you.

I decided to wait a little longer to get my alignment after swapping out the H-techs and adding the Eibachs...car drives great on the Eibachs...I'll be getting the alignment next week. The springs have settled really good and since I don't drive it much I am taking my time to get the handling dialed in.

I'm still on 19"s but seriously thinking of going 20"s....decisions, decisions....

So what are your alignment specs now? What did the race alignment entail? Maybe when you need another alignment look into IAG, they do all kind of stuff for you and last time I went it was only 100 bucks.

What made you switch? I've been contemplating going back to the Eibachs if I don't go coils

I wanted to change the stance of the ride...without having to go with coils...just a little more tucked than the H-techs...Since we have other cars in the household that family members now drive more often, my M is driven primarily by me

The Eibachs are a great choice...I had them on a prior car so my trust in the product has always been there....just a different driving dynamic and look was my number 1 decision for changing.

BTW, coincidentally, I'm getting my alignment done as I'm posting this response :dblthumb: I go to a very reliable and professional shop here in Southern CA.... West End Alignment in Gardena. These guys are the pros.... the owner tracks a lot of his built cars and understands suspension and alignment....

Hyper silver.. I didn't want chrome because it makes it look cheesy imo.. the silver was just too plain..

Hyper silver was a good alternative :)
