I just got myself a bomex body kit put on and painted right out of the body shop, my s13 hatchback looks pretty freaking awesome except for a few things still. One is my wheels. I still got the ghetto crappy stock wheels on there. I am going to get some Motegi's or Enkei's but rims and wheels are so freaking expensive. One concern I have here is using a Eibach pro kit which only lowers my 240 about a little over an inch. But my bomex body kit has lowered my overall body about 2 inchs from stock body height. My question is that is there someone out there who has a body kit on their car w/ an Eibach pro kit and do they still have sufficent ground clearence? Does it make your ride stiffer so that you don't scrape? Please let me know.

hey Nismo, Just out of curiosity, how much did that whole job cost? and did you just match the color that you had or get a complete paint job?

Or does anybody have a bodykit and paintjob price that I can kinda figure by?

also, show some pics!

Ask and you shall receive! =)

Yes, I have a S14 but I can still answer the questions since Bomex makes tall their body kits to the same standards (I Think) but I don't have that much of a clearence problem. Although I do have to go sideways up driveways and the kit is pretty low to the ground. It kind of gets annoying SOME times when I am in a hurry and just want to go in a parking lot or something and I have to go all slow. but be ready to scrape your front bumper quite a few times... but it's all live-able. Good choice on Bomex... they make some of the best kits out there. the body shop didn't really do much of a prep job on it since it came near perfect!!

Yeah, Bomex has to be the best, bar none, as far as body kits go for the 240. I got an s13 hatchback, and I've been to alot of different sites that sell body kits, but to me they just don't have the style and sleekness that bomex has. Plus They are exceptionally dang good quality. My kit was really expensive though about $1500, and another $1100 to have it painted. I'm going to get the whole painted all the way through cause I got some scratches and what not on the orignal car body. and remove the pinstripping too. But that will be a while later, All I can say is that I love my 240 cause I got it for practically nothing and now it is my hobby project car. I love doing stuff like this to it, But it is expensive :)
