I think your typical response is going to be if you drive like bat of hell and constantly want to change your setup, coilovers.

If you are going for lowered look, aren't going to change it, & just daily average driver, springs.

Either way, proper aligning and pressure will always be the key to tire wear.

No sure if I qualify to answer your question since I drive the previous body 2003 M45, but since I installed my eibachs back in Jan 2006 I haven’t had any un-even tire wear, but driving habits will be key. I also drive my car like an elderly man. Also, if you fail to get the perfect alignment you will suffer some tire damage.

Eibach Pros are designed to work in conjunction with OE shocks/struts and the resulting drop should have minimal impact on your camber, thus minimal impact on tire wear. Drops greater than the Pros definately require camber adjustments. Being new to the Infiniti world, I don't now if the after-market has camber adjusting plates like the Bimmer world does. As someone said, springs only will help tighten up the ride a bit and eliminate gaps, whereas coilovers are designed to help you dial in the car for track situations.

Suspension and all its components only represent <10% of handling the other >90% comes from tires.

Radical springs and shocks cannot change things even 4% as measured on a skid pad or slalom from ideal oem settings.

I agree, and it's that meager 4% that every racer spends $$$ trying to dial in.

Thanks you all for the infoLooking more towards the eibachs since they are cheaper and will give the lowered stance i am looking for, just hope the tire wear isnt too bad..?I do drive normal to a little spirited at times. Also I am looking into getting new rims most likely 19's maybe 20's staggered. when that happens will I need to redue the alignment....?

Changing tire sizes does not affect the alignment settings AT ALL. But it is common practice to recommend an alignment when going from worn/uneven tires to new ones.Cheers
