I am thinking about lowering the altima with the eibach kit. I live in the Milwaukee area

The altima is my only car and my question is..if i lower it in the front and rear just over 1 inch, will it hurt my ability to drive it in the winter with snow?

Or will I have to worry about getting the front nose hurt?

Anyone with the kit already installed from the midwest or wear it snows?

Thanks for your help

I'm getting the springs and I live In Quebec. We get a WHOLE LOT of snow lol.I think I might have to swap them out each winter. I really hope I won't have to. My tires are bigger than stock though. 0.5inch more diameter, so I hope that might help with the pot hole and the snow.

errr...I just went outside to measure the space bellow the front bumper and there is a little more than one feet of space bellow it. So forget what I said, a one and a half inch drop won't make a difference with the snow

Hi mcheddadi,

Is there a duty charge on that??? Also what size tires do you have, I am thinking of getting 19" wheels as well. Also where did you buy your tires and wheels, I looking around some where local but if you know a good place in Canada, where price plus shipping is better then anything I find here I would be greatful. I would love to see pics before and after the drop.

I don't know if i'll have to pay anything more at the door for the springs...I just emailed margarette@STILLEN about it

I'm gettings some 245/40/19 Nankang NS-II tires from wheelsnext.com for 612 US$ and they offer free shipping to Canada but at the door i'll have to pay about 200$ in various taxes...GST tax (~$35), PST tax (~$55) Duty (~$45)Provincial Tire Fee (~$12.00)and finally the Brokerage Fee(~50.00-30.00$).

these are the CHEAPEST (considering the free shipping) you can buy from an online retailer (not ebay) shipped to canada.

and my rims I made a really nice deal where I saved about 620$ from their advertised price for 4 rims, I bought them from Z1 Performance.

I hear ya loud and clear brothers. I'm sick and tired of the cold and snow and rain and ice. Screw this! This weather stinks and my coupe don't like it! Vegas here I come!! But first, I have to get a job out there
