Hey guys and gals! I just received my Eibach Pro-Kit from Stillen and tried to install them myself but I think I might have installed the fronts upside down. I tried to install the spring with the Eibach logo right side up but then the spring cap (if that's what it's called, see the picture below for the cap I'm talking about, pictures borrowed from rcboy514) does not fit the spring at the top. I tried to make it fit by forcing it down but the spring is just too rigid, I can't make the cap sits on top of the spring. Then I tried the cap on the bottom side and it fits perfectly so that's how I installed it. So basically I installed the springs with the Eibach logo and number upside down but that's the only way that I could fit the cap on top. Let me know how you guys/gals installed yours.

I know lots of people have done the installation themselves. Do any of you remember if the spring cap sits on top easily or you have to force it in there?

Alright, well...first of all, in order to get the cap back on you should be compressing the spring.Second, did you make sure you kept the rubber seats in their proper positions (ie. top & bottom)?

Yeah, I actually read that how-to about 3 times before I ordered the kit and followed all of the instructions.

Yep, did those also. The spring sits in the groove on top of the rubber seat for the bottom part and the top has a round cap.

I installed the front springs with the Eibach logo up-side-down like that and have been driving around for 2 days but haven't heard any noise or anything.

they are upside down if the logo isn't right side up. I'm not really sure where you went wrong if you're having such trouble though.

did you let off both spring compressors evenly at the same time? That was the only part of the install i could see someone having trouble with.

Ok, I finally have time to take them off and take some pictures. In this picture on the right hand side you can see the end of the spring sticking in a little bit and I can't bend it back out to make the cap fit.

and if I put the cap down on the right side where it's sticking out, then the left side will not fit and I can't make that bend either.
