So I want to pick some of you fellow modifiers brains. I would like to lower the front end of my M45S, but I like the wheel gap in the rear. Has anyone put on only the front pair of springs in the Eibach kit? If there has been any bad experiences with this I will just go with the D2 coil overs so I can choose my own ride height.
I also happen to like my factory wheels, but would like to put some more meat in the rear. I know a very reputable place that does wheel widening and am considering putting an inch and a half on the rears to run a 275/35-19 The tire itself is 5.2MM taller though. How sensitive is the computer to a variance in overall tire height like this?

If you want to just lower the front go with Tein H techs. I had eibach fronts and stock rear and it looked racked and felt a little unbalanced when cornering.

id be worried about the difference in spring rates. and if your looking for more meat, just put a beefier tire on. itll bulge out a bit more and provide a better contact patch. if you are dead set on widening, you would be widening the inside portion only, and would have to counteract the new width with the appropriate offsets if you dont clear your suspension. check out weldcraftwheels.com, its about $500 for a pair of wheels in 1/2" to 2.5" increments.
