Hey everyone,
As I am prepping my car to be seen for potential buyers (that I have yet to find), I'm still working on this EGR issue. Code 32, etc . . . I was messing around with it tonight, with specific regard to the EGR control solenoid. I did some tests to see if it was hooked up to the right "pipes" located right by the coolant hose on the front of the car, and it seems to be, but there also seems to be a leak between connection point 10 (in the FSM) and connection point 16 (again, in the FSM). Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? I just finished looking over the car for the night, and I will look at it more tomorrow, but I just wanted to know if anyone else knew off the top of their heads if there is any sort of T-connector, etc between 10 and 16 that would allow it to lose vacuum. And, as an aside, if I take the connection that's on the side of the bottom of the EGR control solenoid, and connect it directly to the front-most port on the BPT valve, the EGR valve seems to work fine (you can feel the diaphram move as the engine revs). The solenoid also tested out fine on the bench, with the proper electric signals being received at the connector on the car as well . . . like I said before, if anyone has any ideas on this, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
