1997 Nissan pickup xl 2.4 liter automatic is there a trick to get to egr valve to clean it out. located back of firewall.

No real trick. If your a family man you might want to consider sending the kids to a movie before starting. Could also try a EGR cleaning kit. Not sure if this will work? Might end up being a snake oil remedy?? You may be dealing with a carbon build up or the diagram is not working?
