egr valve

ive been lookiin on how to check the egr valve and i tried squeezin the tubes and everythin and the car didnt stall but im not sure if i was checkin the right stuff if someone has some pictures of this i would be very grateful

find the egr valve and go underneath it and push it up as the car idles, and if it stalled or almost then its should be good.

o you push the acutual part up i thoght it was a tube

well underneath the egr valve there is an opening and you can feel the diaphragm, then push it up and should stumble or die. this is actually not the best way to test it but it works if you don't have a vacuum pump(use a vacuum pump and apply vacuum on the egr valve)
