Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Does anyone know when your EGR valve goes bad or if it's time to replace one because my car is using alot of gas and on take off it is stalling and I have to continue to press down on the gas to get it to go. I was told that's what it may be.
